• Welcome to first grade.  I am so happy to be your child's teacher this year!  This year is my fifteenth year teaching first grade at St. Teresa School.

Before I was a teacher, I worked as a lawyer. When I had my children, I stayed home to take care of them for a while.  After they went to school, I began substitute teaching at St. Teresa School and some other schools too. That is when I found out that I love being a teacher!

I love teaching at St. Teresa School. It is such a special place. My own children, Sam and Monica, went to this school. Sam received his undergraduate degree from Boston College and then earned a Juris Doctor from The University of California at Berkeley School of Law, and is now a lawyer.  Monica received her undergraduate degree from The College of New Jersey as an Elementary Education and English major, recently earned her master's degree in ISTEM and administration at The College of New Jersey, and  teaches fourth grade.

I graduated and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cabrini University in 1987, and then went on to earn a Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University School of Law in 1990.

I returned to school to earn teaching certificates in Elementary Education and Social Studies.  Each year I attend workshops to learn new and exciting ways to teach first grade!  I am an advocate for life-long learning!

I love to read, garden, swim, run, go to the beach, and spend time with my husband, Mark, and my children.
