In Pre-K3 we do STEM projects just like the big kids. During the end of October and November the students had fun making a Skeleton and a Turkey.
For Halloween we tried to make a skeleton out of marshmallows and q-tips. The kids were each given a picture of a skeleton and they had to try to use the marshmallows and q-tips to make a skeleton. The kids loved putting their skeleton together and of course eating some marshmallows.
For Thanksgiving we made some turkeys. The students were given feathers, glue, part of a paper towel roll, eyes, and an orange triangle. Their only instruction was to make a turkey. They did a wonderful job.
